How To Disable Win+X Shortcut Key In Windows

Windows key is the one of the short cut key for launching different applications in the explorer. Some of the users doesnt like the windows shortcut key. In this tutorial i will show you how to disable windows key.

1. Click on Start -> Run, In run type “regedit” and hit enter.
2. Registry editor will be launched, Now navigate to the following location in the Registry Editor.

[Normal_Box]HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesExplorer[/Normal_Box]

3. In the right hand pane of the registry editor create a new Dword value named as “NoWinKeys” and set the value to 1.

4. Now log off the system for changes to take effect.
